“We lost that losing feeling” — A Philadelphia Inquirer editorial relating to the Phillies 2009 World Series appearance. The article appeared in the Nov. 10, 2009, edition of the newspaper.

“Bill Romanowski: ‘I can help Brian Westbrook heal quickly” – An article based on an exclusive interview with Romanowski about concussions, specifically relating to Brian Westbrook. Article appeared on DailyPhiladelphian.com on Nov. 21, 2009. The Philadelphia Inquirer included it in its “Moving the Chains” blog. In addition, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, as well as Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, all sent a link to the story on their Twitter accounts.

“Lou Williams OK with signing Iverson” — An article reporting Lou Williams’ response to reports the Sixers were exploring signing Iverson. The Sporting News, Wall Street Journal and Slam Magazine all picked up the story on their web sites. Our story led to coverage of Lou Williams’ tweets  by many other mainstream media outlets.

“Szczur, Villanova win FCS championship” — An article about Villanova’s FCS championship victory was partially picked up by ESPN.com Insider’s Dec. 20th entry. The text included in the notebook sections: “

“Another impressive performance this weekend came from Villanova’s versatile star Matt Szczur (pronounced like “Caesar”) who sparked the Cats to the FCS championship by running for 159 yards. That effort prompted a great line in The Daily Philadelphian:

Forget Michael Vick. Matt Szczur is the best Wildcat in Philadelphia.”

“Ochocinco owes ESPN’s Schefter shopping spree” — An article detailing Ochocinco’s wager for a year’s supply of suits if he didn’t score a TD against Steelers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter sent the link to the story out via his Twitter account. Story appeared on Nov. 15, 2009.

“DeSean officially joins Rosenhaus” – An article that DeSean Jackson had officially joined Drew Rosenhaus as a client. The story, which appeared on Nov . 17, 2009, was included on the Ochocinco News Network’s (OCNN) Facebook page.
